Description:

Classic Couta Boat designed and built under instruction by the famous Ken Lacco, one of few remaining and at 18 feet easily handled by one or two for sailing, fishing or just mucking around in a boat.

Constructed from Celery Top Pine planking and Deck with Spotted Gum ribs and Merbu Keel.
With a very hard to get Queenscliff Mooring over near the Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club.

The boat has been professionally built by Evern Hill of Rhill, Phillip Island. Is of solid timber construction and is of high quality materials.
The hull is carvel planked of spotted gum and celery pine, no wood rot and all planks are in good condition. There are no cracked or broken ribs or stringers.
Planked deck is in very good condition.
Mast, gaffe, boom and bow sprit are wood and in very good condition
Centre board casing is in good condition.
All fittings are brass or stainless steel
Engine is a 10hp Yanmah Diesel. Shaft is stainless steel with 3 blade propeller.
Rudder is over the stern wooden type.
Sailes 1 main 1 genoa
